With an objective to ensure 99.9995% uptime for its client’s business operation, NetHertz has implemented a five-level disaster recovery system which involves building of redundancies at various levels. The levels of redundancies include:

 
System Level Redundancy

Based on its client’s system inventory and system configurations, NetHertz can provide replicated systems at its colo site or the colo sites selected by its clients. NetHertz is fully geared to deploy systems from various manufacturers such as Nortel, Cisco, Avaya and AudioCodes. NetHertz deploys on-demand redundant systems when client’s equipment is diagnosed to be in irreparable condition or requiring considerable repair time. By offering system level redundancy NetHertz eliminates any downtime associated to the failing of clients’ systems and equipment.

 
International Connectivity Level Redundancy

In a longer run, it is critically important to plan and provide for dual or redundant international connectivity. Though not a core business, NetHertz provides all the technical and commercial assistance required to source the best-priced international connectivity links including IPLC, MPLS and Managed IP to its clients. Based on the requirements of the project, NetHertz designs and builds redundancies with carriers including identifying auto-restoration routes and mechanisms to ensure that all links are stable and functioning tirelessly. NetHertz believes that Tier-1 carriers have build fault tolerance systems into their networks hence any major disruption of service is highly unlikely. Should client purchase the connectivity service, NetHertz will make necessary provisions to make this circuit redundant.

 
Managed Services Redundancy

The world-class NoCs are staffed continuously, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, by highly-qualified network engineers, cross-trained and certified on a wide variety of platforms, technologies and operating systems. With best-in-class network monitoring tools and NetHertz's network engineering expertise, this service eliminates the need and cost for clients’ to have on-site technical personnel and helps reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR) of their applications. NetHertz has some of the finest Nortel and Cisco certified engineers to manage its clients’ system and network needs anywhere in the United States. If a client would require equipment management services in their current collocation facilities outside of the NoCs, NetHertz offers on-demand Remote Hands and Smart Hands support services to manage and maintain the entire infrastructure at pre-determined response times.

 
Carrier Level Redundancy

Designed to be carrier-neutral, NetHertz offers its clients with the highest availability from the telecom carriers. Using its auto-routing and least-cost routing mechanisms, NetHertz directs the traffic to its carrier of choice. NetHertz has implemented a commercial carrier-grade switch at its NoC. The Class IV switch implemented allows for clients’ calls to automatically fail-over to pre-programmed dial-piers allowing consistent call flow irrespective of service status of any particular carrier.

 
Site Level Redundancy

NetHertz NoC at Miami is redundantly connected with its four peer sites at Virginia (USA), California (USA), (Madrid) Spain and (Sao Paulo) Brazil offering its clients with multi-site fail-over capability. As clients’ businesses grow and the demands of continuity of business increases, the significance of having multiple colocation facilities becomes increasingly prominent. Incorporating the inherent redundancies available at the colocation sites, NetHertz works innovatively with its clients to design network and its domestic and international connectivity to ensure highest uptime.
